DATA POLICY for BRHS - Braemar Royal highland Society is hosted on the Guru platform. Guru provides us with the online platform that allows us to inform you about the Braemar Gathering and to sell our products and services to you.

All direct payment gateways are offered by PayPal and used by BRHS adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. When you conduct a transaction on our website, including making a donation, as part of the process we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the purpose of responding to a direct query relating to our event, completing your ticketing transaction, processing your donation or recording your interest and entry in an event. For competitors, information relating to your entry to an event will automatically be deleted from our competitor data base after a period of 18 months.

We may contact you to notify you regarding your transaction, to provide advice, resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our events, or as may be otherwise necessary to contact you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail, unless you tell us you do not wish to be contacted in any of these ways.

We will not pass your details on to any third party for their commercial or other use.
